NDACT is a multi-agency, cross-sectoral partnership tasked with taking forward the New Strategic Direction for Alcohol & Drugs (2006 - 11) at a local level.

NDACT has developed local action plans to tackle substance misuse based on assessment of local need across the Northern area since 1996. The Team aims to co-ordinate efforts to improve access to treatment, education, prevention and support services as well as supporting local community initiatives.

The Public Health Agency (PHA) is the lead and host partner of NDACT.
